Global Outreach Purdue!
The International Students and Scholars Office offers programs aimed directly at international students. Join the International Friendship Program and get involved with an area resident. Purdue Convocations
This office brings entertaining and educational professional arts programs to Purdue. If you like high quality musical groups, song, dance and other performances, then you will not want to miss some of the offerings during a given academic year.
Student Organizations
The Student Activities and Organizations area is responsible for the recognition and administration of over 600 student organizations, including program advisement and calendaring of their activities. Within this area of the Office of the Dean of Students, there are more than 30 international student organizations.
Recreational Sports Center (RSC)
The Recreational Sports Center was the first university building in the United States created solely to serve students' recreational sports needs. There is something for everyone at this facility including, but not limited to: volleyball, basketball, squash, raquetball, weightlifting, running track, gymnastics, cricket, aerobics, badminton, table tennis, handball. To this day this facility remains one of the best for a university student body.
International Center (IC)
Officially called The International Center of Greater Lafayette, Inc., the IC, as it is fondly called by students, faculty and staff alike, provides many meaningful programs, activities, and trips to students, faculty, staff and spouses from abroad. Coffee hours, language classes, cooking classes, dance classes, day trips and a popular winter coat loan program are but a few of the center's offerings.
Office of the Dean of Students (ODOS)
The mission of the Office of the Dean of Students is to provide services and programs that enable and encourage students to achieve success in their intellectual and personal development at Purdue and elsewhere. English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Program
Offering courses ranging from beginning conversation to TOEFL iBT preparation, the English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program has been serving the Purdue international community and the Greater Lafayette area for more than 15 years.
Center for Career Opportunities (CCO)
As you become interested in summer internships and post-graduation employment in the U.S. or abroad, this center is the place to visit for resume-building assistance, developing interview techniques, and obtaining interviews with prospective employers.
Dedicated to becoming one of the leaders among career centers nationwide and already home to one of the top 5 campus interviewing programs in the country, this center provides effective employment support and outstanding career development services that positively influence life-long career transitions among its students and graduates.
Intercollegiate Athletics
Purdue sports some of the best athletic teams in the country. Learn about the teams and their respective schedules and come out to enjoy the Boilers in action!
