International Baccalaureate

General guidelines:

exams can be taken at either the Subsidiary Level (SL) or at the Higher Level (HL)

credit normally will be awarded for HL subjects only, but there are a few exceptions

exams are scored 7 – 1 (7 = A+, 6 = A, 5 = B, 4 = C); credit will be awarded for 7 – 5; students with lower grades should be encouraged to test out
