Transfer to Purdue University

J-1 students who are transferring from another US educational institution (including a high school, language center, or a different Purdue campus) to Purdue must visit the ISS office to complete a transfer notification process. The process must be completed within two weeks of the first day of class of the student´s first semester at Purdue.

The following documents must be submitted in order to complete the transfer:

• Purdue issued Form DS2019
• Form DS2019 from previous school
• Purdue issued international student transfer form completed by the international student office at the student's previous school

Transfer from Purdue to another institution

Students transferring from Purdue to another US institution should obtain a Form DS2019 from the new school and complete the transfer procedure at that school.

Please complete this form if you intend to transfer out of Purdue University to another US educational institution which is activated in SEVIS (Student & Exchange Visitor System), to notify the Purdue International Student & Scholar (ISS) office of your intent.
